ok, I'm slow... I initially read this as you have a runner girl in your dc that is moving to vegas... :::: I thought it was odd that you'd post it on your dry erase board - wouldn't other dcparents be offended?... ::::

3 YEARS?????? Oh My Goodness. I would go out of my ever-lovin' mind if I went that long without a vacation day!! I take 3 weeks a year. I stretch it out all year, but I still take them. I'd go nuts!!
And as for the parents not listening......, I guess they are the same everywhere. I remind them so many times its unbelievable. I give them 2 printed calendars, one for home and one for work....I remind them via e-mail starting a month before, and send out one email a week reminding them for the next month before my day off.....and yet, I've STILL had parents show up at the door......
