I went to a free event this a.m. that providers can set up at, crafts, sensory tables, etc. It's offered for 2 hours as a family oriented activity, plus I guess it's a good way to advertise your center/home. Anyways, I went, thinking I'd gain some great new ideas and inspiration. I came away with...well heck, I've done all those things. LOL Granted, some I haven't done in awhile but still....
They had fingerpainting, decorating crowns and masks, decorating small canvas bags with markers, making necklaces with beads, PVC pipe plumbing, sensory tables with shaving cream, cloud dough, rice, legos.
Maybe next year I'll reserve a space. It'd be great for advertising!
