What Is Wrong With Me Today!!!

I am usually a happy, easy going person but I'm having a hard time today! Everything is just bugging me, even little things!

I made a huge breakfast this morning since we had a special guest and my husband didn't have to go into work until later. Well he got called into work so he didn't eat and then the kids just picked at it. It was my fault for putting so much on their plate, it is their favorite meal so I thought they would eat it all. So much food was wasted and nearly full plates thrown away!

15 minutes later, 3 of them were hungry! I made them wait until snack which was an hour away (breakfast was late this morning) I know I'm mean! While doing dishes, I heard a loud noise. Unknown child ripped off the Hot Wheels wall-track off the wall! I couldn't figure out who did it. Part of the drywall was ripped off. Went back to doing dishes and we are out of dish soap! Mad at myself for forgetting to put it on my grocery list.

The front (ground floor) window was open since it is beautiful outside! My 2 year old son pushed the screen away from the frame and was pushing toys outside! All while I was sweeping the kitchen. Maybe 3 minutes?

Lunch was a better success with most of the kids. 3.5 year old was pushing food under the toddlers booster seat instead of eating it. Same child asked to use the restroom during lunch, I followed him up after giving seconds, to find him peeing in my bath tub instead of the toilet.

3.5 year old won't stop walking around in circles! This normally doesn't bother me!

Special guest and my daughter have been arguing a lot. Most of it is, if you don't want to play with me your not my friend.

It is becoming harder and harder to clean and do chores without something happening! I have tried puzzles or coloring at the table while I pick up. It does help but only lasts a few minutes.

It will be so much easier in our new home since it is an open floor plan and a ranch vs 3 stories!

Sorry for the long post! Guess this is more of a vent then anything else.

Special guest is a long time daycare child that went to school this fall. His brother is still here and my daughters best friend. They only get to see each other at church on Wednesday nights, I want to change churches but can't bc then she would rarely see him. That's I different story.

I get like this too from time to time. Some days it can be crazy and it doesn't bother me in the least and other days I can't wait until closing time to get here!

I usually get irritated when it's around that time of the month...everything bothers me then...

After a day like that you are still forming coherent sentences, I'd call that a win.

On those days I get out the gates and start putting up toys and throw some mellow music on (for me or the kids ??). I sit in the middle of a much smaller play area (gates), reading book after book to no one in particular (put all my chores on hold). Usually within an hour most of the group mellows out as they slowly join me to listen to the book.

It's not too bad outside today and I am in your area... it's just a little windy. Let them outside to get rid of that energy!

I think you maybe right about the time of month. I am coming off the depo shot and I'm thinking that could play a part in it too.

It usually is funny and entertaining most days! I'm not sure why he does it? Also whenever anyone asks him a question the answer is always I don't know! Like what color is your shirt...I don't know. Do you want to come play with us?... I don't know. That was bugging me today too ::

I know how you feel somedays are harder than others. This week was really tough for me as I have sinus infection and strep throat. Everything was getting to me, such as how many times do I have to do 5 little monkeys, twinkle twinkle, etc. I kept thinking why can't you entertain yourselves for a while. But I realized I was really crabby when my coworker laughed at me for saying "stop eating your shoes, and no you cannot chew on susie's shoes either!" In my mean teacher voice! TGIF!

Great idea!! We went outside to play after snack time. That helped a little! It was so nice yesterday! Today, not so much.
