    Wording

I had a family before with infant, toddler, and school ager.

The school ager caused a LOT of issues and I ended up terming on good terms. They went to a new provider, who is soon going on mat leave and not taking them back due to ratios. She is planning on asking me to come back.

I do not want the SA back. Not for a second. Not even at pick ups/drop offs, I think. How would you tell mom that as nicely as possible?

I would just tell her you're not taking anymore children at the time.

DCM, I would love to have your kids back but unfortunately cannot accommodate your SA'er. Let me know if you are still interested I space for the others.

That's how I would approach it.

I've been in a similar situation. I simply said I couldn't accommodate. Then I offered mom contact referrals for SA programs in our area. They are so much more age appropriate for SA'ers.

I will take and want to take the baby and toddler due to an upcoming infant and pretty much constant over 2 spot that's open. And hours work out really well this time. I just do not want the SAer. I just don't want to come off as super mean about that.

After switching to the other provider she asked about just baby coming back, but I don't know how that will pan out so I am expecting the call for all three.

Yup! I would go with BC's answer then!
