I have always had babies and for the most part fed them baby food or those gerber meals. Well now all of a sudden I have older kids, age 1.5-3.5 and then school age on days of no school. Im running out of meal ideas. I don't want to have to spend 30 min in the kitchen cooking because I can't see the kids from my kitchen. Can you guys share what kind of things you do for breakfast and lunch? Its mainly lunch I need ideas for. Thanks

I like easy, and try to remember I'm cooking for 1 - 2 year olds (ie: not goumet!)
At least once a week I throw a whole chicken in the crock pot with potatoes under and a few carrots.
Stir fry (chicken frozen veggies, rice with a splash of soy sauce)
Meatballs & pasta
Fish sticks & mashed potatoes
For veggies I use frozen veggies. Much easier for me even if it's a bit more expensive. I do a rotation of peas, carrots, peas & carrots, mixed veggies, broccoli, etc. Put in a pyrex measuring cup with water, nuke for 1 - 2 minutes and instant veggie- Flag

A lot of times I cook extra at dinner so that the food is already made for the next day. Or you could pre make a casserole at night and just pop it in the oven. Crock pots are wonderful, just pop everything in early in the morning and it's done by lunch, or do it the night before.
Pastas are fast and easy to make too! And yes, frozen veggies are super easy to make! I do a lot of fresh fruit, but a lot of the time I do used canned.
You should check out the menu/meal section, there are so many ideas!- Flag
