I Have A Headache And It's Only Tuesday

I am screwed for this week. I already have a headache and it's only Tuesday. Started with a text that I received Sunday evening at 9:00 p.m. Seriously? Why do I need to talk to you at that time on the weekend. This is in reference to a 2 year old (almost 3) that I'm potty training.

"Johnny's done really good on the potty all weekend. wore undies today with no accidents. He still wants to poo in a diaper though. Want us to send him in a pullup or try undies?"

me: That's great, tell him I'm proud of him. No, send in a pullup. I need him 100% accident free for 2 weeks before I do underwear. Thanks".

Oh Lord really? He asks to be put in a diaper to poop and she wants to send him in underwear? Ahhh no way. Then on Monday she tells me that he "made" her put a diaper on him and then he went behind the couch and pooped. I had to cover my mouth from laughing. Seriously? He would have been sitting on the toilet right then and there.

Then today it's hitting 45 degrees (Michigan) and not 1 parent sent snow pants, boots or in some cases mittens. The temp is nice, but there is still a couple 2/3 feet of snow on the ground. So, no one went outside. Can't wait for the first parent to ask if we went out and enjoyed the day.

LOL BC, I know you're gonna say that they should have been sent home and come again with proper gear right? A couple of them came in with bags which I assumed had their stuff in it and when I went to look they didn't. The other 2 are brothers and they never have proper gear. I wrap the baby (11 months) up in blankets and put him in the stroller and the 3 yr old is the one that went home in wet shoes and socks yesterday. He does have winter coat and hat, but I always have extra mittens for him. I was shocked with the 2 that didn't have their stuff in their bag because they always have their things. When it comes down to it, I get paid the same and sometimes it's easier to stay in then to get 5 of them ready, so ****s for them.

        P.S. thanks for the hug

I'm actually going after work to the high school. The track coaches open the school on Sundays so the kids and parents can walk or run in the school through the winter. So, to "give back" we are going over and shoveling the track off because the training season started yesterday. So it will be nice for me to get out in the nice weather and socialize.
