I have a few former families that are waiting to bring their children back just for the summer. In the past I have had people say they would be here, and then at the last minuet change their mind. At that point I had turned down other families and was stuck with the spot. This year I am going to charge to hold the spot. I am thinking anyone that has been gone over a year paying the enrollment fee again($75). Then charging either a refundable deposit($200?) that I will give back at the end of the summer if they stay the whole summer. And/or asking for the first 2 weeks or the last two weeks up front to hold the spot(spot won't be saved until the $ is in my hand). Which sounds best?

I post how many openings that I will have for summer and then let them know that the cut off for summer enrollment is May 5. There is a $200.00 deposit fee that is required to sign up and hold your spot. They are 100% non refundable.
I do not hold spots with out a cleared check and contract. I have an online form set up with paypal where they fill out the form and sign up online.
This year I am going to have some super mad parents, but I have about 9 past families that have graduated out recently so I know that they are going to be mad when I tell them I only have 2 summer spots this year.............- Flag
