Can't Make Everyone Happy!

I'm pretty sure we have found our house!!! We are going to make an offer tonight! I talked to my daycare families this morning, most are very excited! One parent is not happy with the location. She said they might have to find someone else. The house is .8 miles from our current location! Mom and dad live close to were we are now. :confused:

Remember, though, that some people just plain don't like change, so that may have been just a gut reaction to "your changing something".

I hope all goes well with home purchase . Those parents are nuts not wanting to drive a little further .

When I moved it was 15 miles away . I had 2 dck's parents that stayed with me . They drove 20 minutes in the opposite driection and then back to get to work .

I think it's nuts too! I have a family (divorced) that drive literally all over town but still come here after almost 4 years! They have to drive in a huge square twice a day but I am worth it!!

Another bonus, is the area we will be in has no other providers near by! So will be easy to fill the spot. happyface

My thoughts exactly! It takes little time! Roughly 5 minutes because you have to cross a pretty big street but still. I looked it up on map quest maybe thinking it was farther away than I thought! Nope .8 miles!

Oh my goodness! It has been a nightmare! Don't accept cash payments 6 months before you apply, you have to verify all deposits into the down payment account, they use your net income not gross , lots and lots of paperwork and verifying. If you move more than a few miles from your current location you will need letters from all your parents stating that they will follow you, lots of hoops! I didn't do research on self employments and mortgage loans before trying, just research on everything else. My mistake!

The only downside is we will have to pay rent and mortgage for 2 months but still worth it!!!
