    What would you do.

Mom dropped child off at normal time and said btw, he's been awake since 4:30 am. Well, he didn't take a morning nap and I put him down at our regular nap time. He will normally nap for 2 hours sometimes longer and I have to wake him. Today after an hour, he wakes up and poops. I changed him and put him back down. He's clearly tired but he he just lays there and cries on and off. Did I do the right thing?

I had to do the same thing today! But my dcb went back to sleep. I think you did the right thing. I personally can't leave a child in a poo diaper, even if they are asleep.

Me neither. He never went back to sleep and instead pooped again. I'm glad I changed him twice cause if he would have just pooped once it would have been an explosion!! ๐Ÿ’ฃ๐Ÿ’ฃ๐Ÿ’ฃ

If I have a kid, no matter how hold, who is exhausted, I put them for nap as long as need be. If they cannot stay up and participate happily, they go to nap or parents are called for pickup.
