I'm just outside of Memphis and I charge by the week only. It's $135 per week, paid in advance of care. It's the second highest I've seen in my area but you get what you pay for. I only keep 3 kids (will eventually be 4) and I work hard to give phenomenal care. There is a lady across town who only charges $65 per week and I'm terrified at what kind of care you get for such a low rate. I don't know her or anything so I'm not knocking her personally but as a parent I would be terribly concerned.

I'm just barely inside RT 128 and I charge 95 per day, but I typically take full timers so its around 400 per week.

        RURAL northern california

        Infants are $36 per day
        all others $33 per day

I won't accept children for less than 4 days a week. So that puts my weekly rates at $144/180 and $132/165

the graph on page 19 is more helpful. It shows lowest, highest, and median daily rates for each age group.
