Question for Kansas in home providers

So I was looking into the ratios for in home childcare and based on the tables I've found about it, it looks like if I were the only care provider there I would not be able to have under 2 1\2. Is that correct?

There lots of different options for caring for children in KS. With a licensed daycare home w/ 1 provider the rule are listed under K.A.R.28-4-114 (e)(1) Table 1

    These are the options:

    Max of 10 children
    7 between 18 months and 4 yo
3 over 5 yo (this is considered school aged in KS, even if they are 5 yo and haven't started school yet)

    -OR-

    Max of 10 children
    1 under 18 months
    5 between 18 months and 4 yo
    4 over 5yo

    -OR-

    Max of 9 children
    2 under 18 months
    4 between 18 months and 4 yo
    3 over 5yo

    -OR-

    Max of 8 children
    3 under 18 months
    3 between 18 months and 4 yo
    2 over 5yo

    Hope this helps!!!

Ah thank you! I was looking at the tables wrong (the one I needed was on a previous page ) but now I see where the info is. I guess that'll teach me not to try and read licensing stuff when I wake up in the middle of the night! Lol
