I have that boy too My daycare opened in a rented space and to save $$ I took donated items from friends and family that were in good shape. Some of those were battery operated. My dcb is now 30 months and has slooooowly moved on from the constant repeated button pushing. I am slowly replacing the battery operated toys. For a while tho, he wld fixate on a button until I said " dcb! Push a diff button!!" Or get him started on something else :: He is also the one who won't stop talking EVER!!!! It's constant!

I have some battery operated toys, BUT most of them have run out of batteries and I conveniently "forget" to buy new batteries.

I have been "buying" new batteries since last summer....
