I was trying to find other threads regarding this, but wasn't successful....
I have a dcb who is transitioning from bottle to cup. Just started over the weekend, DCM said child did well at home.
I put dcb (10 mos) in the highchair with the cup, but he can't tilt it back to drink. I know I'm supposed to hold an infant while bottle feeding, but am I supposed to hold the cup, too? That would take forever & in my opinion, defeats the purpose of drinking from a cup.
Granted this is only the first day, but I have a feeling he's propped up at home & given the cup, which I won't do here.
I guess what I'm asking is, what's the easiest/most successful way to transition from bottle to cup in a daycare setting? Thanks in advance.
