Does anyone do School-Year Only Care?

Looking into only doing school-year care, which would mainly mean teacher's kids. We won't be having them pay for Winter, Spring or Summer Break, but they do pay for other days off and they pay a slightly higher than average rate.
If you are, just wondering if you do any extra marketing specifically to teachers and where?

I do teacher only care for the most part. I love it! so far I have been able to take temporary kids during the school breaks to make up for it but I also wouldnt mind less kids during the breaks either. I don't advertise in any special way for teachers kids and find that if I add a little something to the advertising I already use such as "teachers welcome" that I always get interest.

All my families are school employees and I pretty much follow the school calendar with a few exception like being open on teacher workdays. I am closed for spring break, Christmas Break, Thurs/Fri at Thanksgiving, etc. I get paid for all holidays that are indentified as holidays on the school calendar. Days off that are not holidays are not paid. I drop to 4 days/week from the time school gets out through the end of June, closed for July, 4 days/week from the first Monday in Aug until the week before school starts which is when our teacher normally go back.

You can always try seeing if you can post fliers in the teachers lounge at a local school or if you have a teacher's warehouse house/specialty store (like RAFT) seeing about posting fliers there. You can also try using key phrases that attract teachers like "perfect schedule for teachers" or "no Summer/Winter/Spring break holding fees"

            I do. I don't advertise-word of mouth only.

Most of my families are teacher families-just by word of mouth. I also have a couple other families. I take off all of Christmas break. So fat I've worked spring break and summers taking older kids. I just gave my families notice that after this summer I will no longer be providing summer carehappyface I was so relieved after I gave out the letter-no one has said anything about it yet...
