Am I In The Wrong Here?

Thanks ladies - I'm kind of happy to hear I'm the issue here as I like this DCF. But like I said, if I'm irked then I didn't handle it correctly. I think I'm left with a two options for the future:

1) Adjust her contracted hours to actually reflect their normal hours.
2) Give a week notice of closing early.

Both of these would have created a better situation and I wouldn't be wrongly upset

I think you have two good potential solutions. I don't think #1 will be the best one b/c it sounds like they like the cushion of a later pick up time for the dad. #2 seems like it would be the best one as then it covers all families. Although how do you handle parents who are put out by the earlier time? (Asking as a note for myself for later )
