Minute Menu App for Android or Apple

Happy Valentine’s Day!
My hubby is getting me a tablet for Valentine’s Day/ Anniversary. My goal is to be able to use it for the day care especially for tracking using Minute Menu Pro...
My question is does anyone know how well the Android app for Minute Menu runs? Is it just as good as the Apple version?
I would hate to try and save money and purchase a Samsung or a windows tablet only to find that the Minute Menu app is a downgrade.

I have a Samsung and kindle and the mmp app doesnt work and both or brand new.
