    Olympics

We are on letter O next weel, so I wanted to do an Olypmic theme week ... wondering if you guys have done anything or have any cool ideas?

I already have planned stamping the rings with toilet paper rolls in the ring colors, "ice skating" on paper plates, and making medals ... somehow, haha.

We are doing Olympics all next week. Pinterest has some great ideas for crafts, I also found a few ideas for math activities and a maze for the 6 year old. Where we are we just got a TON of snow which will be great for our outdoor Olympic games. Still have to think up a few more, but we are making a giant snow mound to slide down, my husband is making a maze for the kids to run through in the yard with his snow blower, a snow ball toss, pulling each other on sleds and snow angels. Also I was thinking of an obstacle course that can be done inside if weather is bad. My dck's are mostly 2 and under, gotta keep it simple but still fun! I'm thinking one group activity per day outside and then a few of the crafts I found on Pinterest. At the end of the week they'll each get a gold medal that I picked up at the dollar store or we might make our own if we get to it. Great week for it since my kids are home from school, my 6 year old will participate and my 12 year old will help out. Here is the link to my pinterest board for some ideas. Have fun, I know we will! http://www.pinterest.com/lmdupont05/...nter-olympics/
