    Need New Cribs

    Boo. Just found out today that the daycare cribs my grandma bought me from an auction do not meet the new standards. I love these cribs
    Im not licensed yet, but hopefully will be in a couple weeks.
    I can only afford one crib right now, so I am looking for suggestions. I would like one with wheels that folds up. The cheaper the better.

    What about pack n plays. I have three of them for in case I have infants. When not in usr I just fold them up and put away. No wasted space

      I just got rid of my pack and plays haha.
      I prefer cribs, easier to clean in my opinion.
      Just a personal preference.

        I got rid of my PNP's too. Too hard to clean the netting, under the folds etc. I bought folding wood mini cribs. LOVE them! They fold flat and take up less space than my PNP's did.

          I bought some great folding wooden mini cribs from Walmart for around $110 each. They still look like new two years later and are very easy to clean.

            actually it was illegal for them to sell anycrib made before june 2011 unless it has a certificate from the manufacturer.

            I have a white metal porta crib it has evacuation wheels. It is carried by many companies but made by LA baby you can find it fron $100 to $180 with a 2 or 3 inch thick mattress.
            It:: will wait

              I have 3 cribs from IKEA that were $60, the mattress was $40, a good deal!

              I have recently purchased two of the folding ones from amazing for $110, it comes with a one inch mattress, I ordered the two inch one, but you don't have to. I really like them, I can easily move them to another room if I have a baby not napping well, or fold them to get them out of the way.

                  So disappointed. I purchased a Delta portable crib. http://www.amazon.com/Delta-Portable...+portable+crib

                  It came in the mail yesterday. I opened up the box and was disappointed in how flimsy it seemed. Then i took the last piece out and it was already broken! A whole slat was completely cracked in half. I might look into the metal cribs....

                  I am so bummed because the cribs I have are so sturdy! They are really well built. The only thing that doesnt meet the new regulations are the mattress board supports (even though I can climb into the crib and it will support me) DUMB!. I feel like im downgrading in quality.
