I recently changed the name of my daycare. I really didn't want to or really have to but I thought it was the right thing to do. You see, my old daycare name was already being used by someone in the same state. I didn't know until years later and was really shocked. So anyway long story short I decided to go ahead and change it to a new name that I KNOW no one has in my state. The name is Little Tree. So I'm watching tv and I see the show with that guy who builds tree houses, I'm sooooo inspired!! I want one, I want one inside!! I already have one outside. So my daycare space is separate from my living space. We converted our two car garage into the daycare it's perfect. So I'm looking around and taadaa my storage space is on the ceiling. It's approximately 4.5x12 ft. Suspended from the ceiling (which is about 12 ft high). Perfect!!! We put up brightly painted crazy siding this week and next week we will bring in some real tree branches to attach to the sides and ceiling. Final step will be the trunk! Oh the access to enter is through the bottom using those fake rock climbing holds. I can't begin to tell you how excited I am about it. Probably as much as the kids! My one rule for using the tree house is you have to be pottie trained. Two of my daycare kids who were on the fence had perfect weeks last week haha. I love changes they keep things fresh and new.
Changes are Good

That's awesome! I'd love to see pictures of it if you are willing to share. What do you use as a fall zone under the climbing part?- Flag

The entry into the tree house is kind of hard to explain. I don't have anything for falling, there is only one place to fall and it's only a 1-2 ft. They can't fall from the top! Thats one thing I had to be sure of. It's up there. I will post a pic when it's finally complete. I'm thinking of adding a swirl slide maybe next year. I did register my name this time, hehe. ::
