    Some states require that any workman or repairmen that need to be called come only during your closed hours.

    Some states don't have such policies.

    I don't think my state does but my state does say that NO remodeling or major repairs be done when children are present.

    So like everything else, it is up to each state and up to each licensor and/or agency to interpret as they see fit.

      Having someone over to socialize during business hours is frowned upon here. I can't remember the exact wording of the reg, but basically they want to know who's watching the kids while you're coffee klatching

      I have an assistant who comes in several times a week so that is a HUGE help.
