    Pregnant Providers

Those of you currently expecting or past, how much time did you take off? We are planning to expand our family and I'm trying to sort out the details in my head. I have 5 dck 3 and under and 2 of my own kids and I'm a little worried about juggling a newborn on top of that. Thanks!

I'm taking 2 weeks off, but I'm planning on hiring a temporary assistant. He/she will work part-time the week or two before delivery, a solid week when I return, and then one more part-time week after that. I have 4 dck's and 2 of my own children. One will be in school, so really just 5 children total plus the newborn.

I watched kids up until 7 months and then did part time (drop in care). I hired my sister do come and watch the kids while I had doctors apts and things like that and then once I went to part time I went on my days off. I then took 2 weeks off. I had lost all my kids around 7 months which is why I was able to cut back. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to. Then I had found people that needed full time care that I would have lost if I took anymore then the 2 weeks off.
