        Of course, some days I really have to think like you when I am searching for something...

            Sorry... I wish more people would add tags, too. :hug: They will see things I don't. The results will be better that way.

                There's no such thing as a discount. The rate is the rate. The only person who cares about the discount is the provider.

                    Yeah I have to agree, discounts ****!! The only discount I offer is for more days a week. I recently reduced my rate from $45/day to $40/day if she committed to 5 days a week and prepaid the 2wks. I was watching him 5 days most of the time but only prepaid for their contracted 3 days and paid by the day for the other 2 which was ridiculous!!! 10 checks a month for 1 kid!!! so yeah this works better for me to know 100% that he was coming and I was getting paid! Sometimes they would no-show on their drop-in days and not pay.

                    Anyway, I discounted my friend because she was my friend and one of my first clients and it bugged me every week. She rarely paid on time and I know she was paying her preschool more than me and on time!! Ugh!! Taking advantage of me big time!
