    Info From My State Inspector

I was just reading some posts and remembered something that my lic. Inspector had told me and I thought it might be helpful to some. On my emergency form he told me to make sure I include this statement
"In the event that your child needs to be transported by an ambulance all costs would be the responsibility of the parents/family of the child NOT the abc daycare". He told me this after another childcare in the area had been charged for a child that had an asthma attack and an ambulance was called. The daycare was charged for the ambulance because it was called from the home and picked up from the home. The parents bailed on the bill. I included this in my contract.

Utah licensing requires it on our contracts. Parents MUST agree to emergency transporting. I also have it that any cost is the responsibility of the parent.
