    Weekend Nanny Job?

On Friday I received notice from one of my Ft clients that they will be dropping down to 1 day a week. Ugh. I cannot replace her, or fill the other 6 spots I have open. So I am applying for weekend jobs. Since there are so many unemployed people around here, you basically have to be willing to work and day or shift to even be considered for a job. Obviously I cannot do that. I cannot do weekend childcare in my home and even if I could it wouldn't be financially beneficial anyway. My rates don't support it.

So I am looking for weekend nanny jobs. Date night, etc.

Have any of you done this? If so, did you get burnt out?

If love to spend time away from my home and make 3x what I make an hour at home but I'm defiantly not used to doing things someone elses way ::

Before I opened my home daycare, I nannied monday-friday for two families at the same time and a different one on sat-sun. It was a lot but i survived. It wasn't exhausting, I was just never home.
I opened my daycare and had weekends off!! for a few short months. Then my DH wanted to go back to school. Now I nanny on sundays from 530-230. Its the family that I used to nanny on the weekends. Its one boy and he is super calm. I can take him where ever I want. Its easy. I make more on sundays that I do in one day of daycare right now. (that will change once Im licensed, hopefully). I only committed for 6 months.

I hope that makes sense. I do not have any children of my own so that makes a big difference. But the money is totally worth it.

Thanks! I don't have any children either so I don't mind being away from home.
