Ok bragging moment.

My local thrift store had a 75% off sale on everything if we bring our own bag.

I got four toy laptops. I have one at home I hide. This will perfect for media time.

I got three short prom dresses, two cowboy hats, 1 fuzzy hat, one wierd military hat, fire man pants for kids, a vest and clip on ties for dress up.

a new walker for the baby. She is crawling and starting to pull up.

a couple of books

plus a few other items.

Total.....8.50 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's great. I love a good bargain!

One time I got a $16 book for 50 cents. I had seen the book weeks before in our Art Museum's gift shop for $16 because I liked it and had the lady get it down for me. Too pricey though. It was for an older child so I got it for 50 cents and gave it to a friend's grandson whose family gives us a lot of his outgrown things for daycare.

SOOO jealous!!! Lucky finds Our thrift stores around here aren't anything to brag about. Seems they cost quite a bit and never have anything good.
I can't wait for yard sale season to kick in again. There's always that one bargain that makes the hunt worthwhile.
