:hug: I haven't had that problem in daycare yet but back when I was working at my previous job as a manager with people that loved to gossip and had extremely different views than me, I've learned to disengage myself from their unwanted gossip in various ways until they quit trying to share with me. Mostly I would smile and say "that's nice" and walk away. Most got the point. Those that didn't were asked what it had to do with what we were working on at the time or I said that that kind of topic did not belong in the workplace (depending on how touchy the topic was). If that were to happen now...I dunno how quickly I could shove them out the door...

I had a huge problem with a mom 2.5 years ago. She did have diarrhea of the mouth! I death with it until one day she went into great detail her intimate encounter the night before. I wanted to rip my ears off! I told her that to not discuss that kind of thing with me. She left a month after that.
