Took the Plunge! Its really real now!

I FINALLY took the plunge and put in two week notice at "regular" job! My last day will be 2/7/14!
I’m not going to lie... I am still kinda freaking out... something about losing a steady income and health benefits. Yet I also feel completely happy and at peace with my decision.
Can't wait to officially open my daycare doors. I will be taking on one family until I get me license. Hopefully I will get my license sometime in late March or early April! happyface

Good luck! I did it in September! Ups and downs, but I'm glad I did.

I was at home with my kids for 7 years and went back to work p/t. It lasted 4 months! I changed my mind and decided to do daycare and while I have a couple of challenging kiddos, I am also at peace with my decision. It's the best situation for our family....at least for now.

We had been talking about having a third child and just started trying. We found out last week that baby makes 5! We haven't told anyone so this is me not being able to hold it in any more!!

Congrats - I know when I changed from teaching pre-kindergarten to in home daycare my life was SO much more peaceful
