Need Help with Letter to Parents

I will be announcing my pregnancy to my parents this week and am nervous about it! In addition to telling them in person, I wanted to draft up a letter to outline my plans for the next several months. Does anyone have a letter they used or ideas on how to write something short and sweet? I was going to mention my plans for who will be providing my back-up care for my appointments, the length of maternity leave I plan on taking (2 weeks) and my intentions of hiring a temporary assistant for the end of the pregnancy and when I return.
