I had to post cause my dh doesn't seem nearly as excited as me, but I know you all would understand!

I took my daughters to a new dentist today and ended up talking to the dentist for awhile while the techs were cleaning my daughters' teeth. Anyway, she found out I run an in-home child care and eagerly asked if I wanted her to come on her day off next month during our "dental" theme to discuss good dental care with the children, with demonstrations and tooth brushes for all! happyface I'm so happy to have visitors to help with the themes!

We had the fire department come last year and it was such a huge hit!

That's great! The kids are going to love it! I would love to do something like this. We always had different visitors at the centers where I worked- you have inspired me to look into this again

Yay!! My best friend works for a Ped dentist but like 2hrs away! That sounds like so much fun!

Oh that's fun! My sister did it many years ago, she's a hygienist. She brought those really big teeth and toothbrush for demo, and gave them all their own toothbrushes. They loved it.

Yeah the dentist was so excited about it! I think it's so great that they are so involved in their community. She has a toy zebra with teeth that says funny things when you brush his teeth.
