    I Knew It Wouldn't Last

As of yesterday, I am full. I haven't been full....ever. Granted my spots are usually filled up by part times and drop in, but ideally I wanted full time and I got it.

    .....However.....

This morning, a mom told me they cut her hours from forty to two! she is on flex time and apparently they need to train someone. they are constantly changing her hours. of course she asked if she still had to pay. I told her yes, but I understand if you need to put in your notice. I also told her to do it now because I have other two people lined up and if I can get them in next week, I will waive your two week' notice. I also told her about a better job opportunity (she works in child care centers). The new job would also be flex, but everyone I know works forty hours if they want forty hours.

Overall, I would be bummed if I lost this family. The child just started progressing on the potty, was completely used to my routine, and while she didn't nap, she will just lie quietly looking around.

I filled my last two spots & had let one go already. Young, 1st time parent knew more than me & she insisted on bringing her organic food. I couldn't do it anymore, she was draining the life outta me.

ps..., Organic food isn't neon green & pink mush that causes a child to have gas like a 90 year old man. But what do I know???
