Remember dcb with the "cold in his eye?"

Dcm showed up with dcbaby who she had diagnosed as having a cold in his eye, on Monday, a day she wasn't even working.

This particular dcm is NEVER wrong. NEVER.

So dcb has not been here for the last 2 days, but it is not because dcbaby has pink eye, nope, it's because dcm has a cold.

She'll never admit that I was right or that dcbaby DID have pink eye.

Just to be difficult, you could always insist on a written doctor's statements that includes the diagnosis BEFORE allowing the DCBaby to return to care

I've had parents that were ALWAYS right too.... As far as I am concerned EVERYTHING is an opportunity to learn something new so being right or wrong ALL the time wouldn't be any fun at all....

But rather than try and make a point about right and/or wrong, I just started requiring a written doctors' note WITH diagnosis.

Solved the issue right then and there.
