    Contract Question

Ok so it's time for me to update my contract/policy. I'm wondering if I should have a thorough (long) version that goes over every aspect or a short sweet this is it version? What do you have?

I have a short contract that states payment requirements and it also has a statement that says they have read and agree to the handbook/policies, which is a different set of papers.

I have a contract that was made by my attorney and I ask him to state all my policies in there in a very clear way. it turns out parents do read it because of the legal wording on it and it has worked great. Before I had a short one and the handbook and they just put it aside and never even look at it. It was the $300.00 I have ever spent.

I have a handbook with all of my policies in it as well as a separate payment policy page. My contract is short and they have to put their schedule of hours of care and also have to sign saying they have read and agree to all of my policies.
