I have a parent who has been with me for almost 2 years. The child has been very part time at 2 days a week. I would say the child misses at least two days a month, leaving the child only here 1 day a week most of the time.
Well long story short, the child does not do well here because of this. We have a preschool and the child canNOT transition and really has not learned anything. So when we had our parent/teacher conferences, I told the parents this and that it is mostly because dck is so part time. 3 days later (which I full expected and wanted) the parents gave notice.
The parents completely lied about why they were pulling the child. Me and all of my staff could see right through it. But, I don't really care. They had to say what was right for them to make them feel ok with what they were doing. It didn't have anything to do with me at all.
BUT, it still hurt a little. YES, even though it was what I also wanted.
I am sure this ****s and it stung some, but I am sure you are happy that you just dodged a huge bullet.
