MMK and Taxes

We purchased a new laptop so we could get MMK pro! I just started and still working on filling out the kids information. I have a feeling I am going to be on here all day!

Can I use it to enter in my tax stuff from Jan 2013- Dec 2013?

I have spent a lot of time on here reading through the thread in the tax section. I'm pretty sure our tax advisor hasn't been recording our deductions for purchases made. Like all the items we purchased, carpet cleaner, arts & crafts exc. urg!

I love MMK!

You can do your 2013 tax info. now. Just go to accounting and billing. Then click "record expenses" and at the top you can change the year. You can also go to the other features like the time/space and when you enter something, you can choose a different date, even from 2013. I just started entering my 2013 stuff a few weeks ago...

I wish I would have done this when I started! I really love it! I haven't explored it too much yet. I have been stuck on the child information and expenses page for 6 hours! Just finished my supply reciepts for 2013! Now to do mileage, utilities, time/space and all the other stuff! I could never be a tax preparer for a living ::

I've had the program for the whole year (I just opened in Jan of 2013) and didn't do barely any of the tax stuff! I totally forgot about doing the mileage- I don't do field trips, but I just found out you can claim mileage for going to the bank! I also like how it helps you keep track of hours outside of the time the kids are here! There is so much you can do!

My New Years resolution is to keep up on recording things for MMK.. and to be more knowledgeable about all the tax stuff! It's kinda confusing to me!

Where do I find that, keep track of the hours outside of kids being here? You can also claim the miles to and from the grocery store for Groceries!
