Anyway, I wanted to let you know that our dc rates are about the same, but the preschools that offer 2-3 hour programs 2-3 days a week run about $300/350 a month with a $100 non-refundable registration fee. Plus, a registration fee could cover your curriculum and supply costs.

Oohh yeah, I forgot about registration fees. The preschools here do that too. Nonrefundable. Here it's about $25-50, but even at that, it would be something to go towards covering startup costs and curriculum.

      that is my dream.

as for the ages, I would try going from 20 month to 5 years not enrolled in school. these are the ages I have now, but my state is trying to pass a law tha all 4 year olds will qualify for transitional kinder, also known as preppy-k.

So when that happens, I will be forced to take the younger ages. Which I actually prefer to enroll the younger, because then at least you get a client that will hopefully stay a few years before having to leave. when they come in at 3 or 4 or 5, they are in and out in a flash. then you have more work. more advertising, more interviews and all that drama that comes with that.

it sounds pretty good plan to me. good luck with that.
