Massachusetts Providers-Safe Fall Zone Materials for Under 3 Crowd

Hey all. I've called my licensor several times regarding my options for the mandated safe fall zone materials and while she keeps promising to send me the list 8 weeks have gone by without anything coming.

Anyway, is there a provider in MA that has the list of materials we can use that can pass it on to me? I know sand is an option, but we have too many cats around, including my own, so I don't want to use sand. And I have childen under 3, so I can't use rubber wood chips. If sand is my only option then we're just going to forget bringing the backyard up to code.

    TIA!!

I bypassed my state (MI) and went right to the Federal guidelines handbook. It is a little bit more stringent than our states rules but we went with it to be sure. The link is attached. You also should be able to go online to state licensing Rules and Regulations Technical application at MA.gov/childcare or the like.

    I see little people.
