I agree. get plans going for this summer, lay down your rules, have a separate summer contract and have parents start putting down a nonrefundable deposit right now if they can. dont apply the funds to their bill, it is a holding fee only, insuring their summer spot.

If I'm not full I allow past clients to use summer it when their school closes.

Currently I only have ages 20 months to 5 not in school.

I set up a form on my website where they sign up and pay for the drop in care they need. It's all first come first serve and I don't feel bad about it at all.
