When Is Spring Break In Your Area?

Ours is March 31 to April 4.

We are in central North Carolina.

To the Michigan ladies, I thought that Michigan changed it so that all the schools were off the same week for Spring break. Ours is March 28-April 4. Do your kids go to public school?

Public schoolers here. Melilley (sp?) & I are roughly 1.5 hrs away from each other.

We're super early here....most schools are March 10th-14th, with some on a two week break from the 10th until the 21st.

Teacher workday on March 28th and Spring break the next week, so technically March 28th-April 6 (weekend included). Minnesota

Keep in mind that school start and end times vary greatly throughout the states. In NY, the school year doesn't start until after Labor Day, and ends almost at the last week in June. My sister lives (and teaches) in Georgia and they are back to school the second week of AUGUST and out by the beginning of MAY. Our schools get winter break and spring break, but where she is they only get the one spring break. They also get a full week at Thanksgiving, where in NY most schools only get the 3 days.

I thought is was so weird schools went back in August, but my sister said she likes it because by August they are ready and the schools all have ac.
