Hi All,
Trying to send out some reminders to the parents, does this e-mail sound ok? (the breakfast part is actually in the handbook) I always have 1 or 2 kids that are stragglers. If it's 7:40, I'll give a little slack, but 8:15?, nope, wait for morning snack at 9:30.)

Just a quick e-mail with some friendly reminders/requests. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!!
- Parking - When you arrive, please take up one space in the driveway. We have a double driveway, and many of you run on the same schedule, therefore if you could park on either the right OR left when you pull in, that'd be great.
- Carpet - I do not have wood floors in the living room or dining room, only the entry way. If you plan to step on the carpeted areas, please remove footwear prior to entering these areas. The kids are complaining of wet socks, and I'm trying to preserve the carpet as best I can.
- Breakfast - I feed kids breakfast at 7:30 sharp. (Answering the door, caring for the kids & getting ready for the bus stop all happens in a VERY short period of time). All I can say is that it greatly disrupts the morning schedule to have someone pop in at 8 and say (I didn't get breakfast, feed me). It starts the never ending breakfast circle to which a ton of food ends up in the garbage and causes stress. Morning snack is at 9:30.
- Clothing - Kids should arrive in weather appropriate attire. I'd like the option to take the kids for a walk, even if it's in the 40's/50's. My husband usually is able to handle the morning bus stop, but it isn't guaranteed... he sometimes has early meetings and then EVERYONE needs to go to the bus stop, This means your child should come dressed for the weather with shoes, coat and necessary accessories (hat, mittens) every day.

The kids have been a little wild with all this indoor time, and we're always looking to sneak some outdoor time in to run around and expel some toddler energy. Kids love to explore the ice, snow, drains, and other fun outdoor stuff when it's warm enough to do so. Ugh... dreaming of spring
