    Roughhousing..

I have two dcb 5 and 2 that are brothers. They have two older brothers and are clearly allowed to roughhouse at home. I told the 5 year old he is not allowed to that here he started this week doing it with little brother but now he is trying with other kids. I keep telling him that he is going to hurt someone. I am at my wits end with it, it seems like every time i turn around he is tackling someone to the ground or laying on someone or having his brother run so he can put out his arm or leg and brother can trip over him.

I am talking to mom today about it today. Although mom probably wont care because she didnt seem to care when he slapped a kid this week and got a not about it. Boy also lied to her and said it was an accident when he told me he was playing with the other boy.

Am i wrong to telling the mom that if this continues he will have to be terminated? I just feel he is going to hurt someone

I feel you are 100% doing the right thing. A 5 year old should be able to understand that rough housing is not om at dc. And Mom should help enforce your rules.
