    New Here...

    Hi,
I am new here and am looking to start an in home child care. I want it to be a legit business and not just a babysitting gig. I have a lot of question floating in my head.

How do I go about getting certified through the state? Is it a hard process? Is it hard to get approved? Also i have a 2.5yr daughter. Those with small children at home what do you do when they get sick and need to go to the dr or if you get sick and need to go to the dr? Also how do you handle family vacations?

I live near Nashville,TN. Any info/advice would be greatly appreciated!
