    Minute Menu Help Please

I am creating a new thread off my old one so helpful someone can help before nap time is over

I am currently using the free 45 day trial and trying to put in my kids information (Name, hours, parents ...) But its not saving each individual child. Its pulling over bits and pieces from each child I enter to the next child. Then its going back and changing the one I just fixed. SO weird.

Am I missing a save button?

Also can you enter two payment types to keep track of one families balance? Example being parents payment and state subsidy payment.... still seeing a balanced owed if there is any?

I know I can copy each childs info over to another's when I want to, as in for a set of siblings. There is a "copy" button (with a icon of a child's head) for that.

To add a child I click the green "+" tab up top, fill out info, then each child can be accessed from the drop down box up top right, individually.

For invoices you click on "create an invoice" in accounting, then go to unpaid invoices to find the one you just made, select record payment, then add the amount.

With subsidy it may benefit you to make two invoices. One for the agency and one for the client. At the end of the year they won't be able to turn in the full rate paid that is printed on the W-10 tax form, but in all fairness they did not pay it, either.

It may make it easier to keep up with whether or not they have paid their co-pay.
    - Unless otherwise stated, all my posts are personal opinion and worth what you paid for them.

You are soo smart!!!! It never even crossed my mind to create a second invoice.

For the adding another child problem..... its almost like the system is "copying" the childrens info automatically.
When I enter child #1 that one goes fine. Then when I go to enter child #2 (by hitting the "add" button) it goes into Child #2 BUT carries over Child #1's info. So I manually change it. But then it changes Child #1's info to Child #2's info. Its hard to explain.
Then the more kids I add (no siblings here) all the parents end up going to wrong kids and hours don't stay with the right child? Its almost like a glitch in the system

adding.,,,,,,, I am making sure I click the childs name in the drop down before I try and correct it

It is not so much "smart" as it is education by fire... If I preach it, I have usually been burned by it... ::::

I have never had it to do that when adding children. Hopefully someone else here has experienced it and knows how to fix it...

My usual answer to all things IT is to log off, restart my computer, then try again. Usually I have hit some command button I did not know existed or something...
