Any Ideas For A Quick Take Home Craft For Today?

I'm looking for something to occupy a few kids today (ages 2, 3 & 4) and was wondering what type of take home craft I could put together for them for this afternoon. I am still a SAHM with my ds but I picked up a random "babysitting" job from Craigslist a few months ago. My doesn't get a whole lot of time doing crafts with kids his age so I'm looking for something hands-on and fun that they can take home with them. They will only be here for 2 hours.

We did salt dough ornaments before Christmas and bird-seed ornaments last week.

Snowflakes made with pipe cleaners twisted together or Popsicle Sticks glued together. Can add paint and glitter.

Snowflakes from folded white paper? Finger painting? Do you have paper plates? You can do a LOT of fun crafts on paper plates.

Magic painting! Get white paper, use a white crayon and put a design on the paper. I recently made a snowman with a tree and snowflakes with the crayon-took me just a few minutes. Then let the kids use watercolor paint. They paint all of the paper and the picture "magically" appears! Super fun and easy

Unfortunately I don't have any white paper plates but I do have everything else. My ds loves finger painting but I don't know the family well enough (or really at all) to have the kids get too messy while here. Looks like today is going to be snowflake day. (I'm definitely doing magic paint with ds tomorrow. I haven't done that since I was a kid!!)

If you have masking tape you can put some on a piece of paper (in their initial or any pattern) then have them color/paint the entire sheet. When dry peel the tape off.

Another is to use a toilet paper roll, shape it into a heart and use it as a paint stamper.

This is my go to when needed! They always love water color painting and adding the "magic" is even better.

The kids had a blast gluing and decorating their popsicle snowflakes. Looks like they'll be back again on Tuesday so I'll use some of the other suggestions from here. Oddly enough I'm making better money from this occasional family than when I was officially open. I'm almost considering re-opening solely as a drop-in center because I don't think anyone in my area offers that.

white paper , small amount of blue paint in a shallow dish, cotton balls, glitter and glue

have the child press their fingers in then onto the paper to make it look like foot prints. repeat that and then add glitter to the wet footprints to complete it. have the children glue white cotton balls around the foot prints to look like snow.
