I mentioned in a different thread earlier that a parent dropped off a kiddo this AM with a small fever (not above what my illness policy states, so I didn't turn her away). She said she gave her tylenol and assumed teething. She never ran the fever when it wore off, so I didn't feel it was necessary to call the parents for an early pick up. She was all smiles all day. Then, bam - HUGE liquid stool 20 minutes before pick up (which thank goodness was just a disaster mess on the changing table, not on the carpet!) which I sent a note home with mom about (Grandma picked her up). I sent mom a message asking her if she got my note - she says yes and that they took her to the doctor, she has a sore throat too and is contagious so won't be here for the next two days at least.
My faith has been restored temporarily in good parents who can follow an illness policy! It seems like I always get the bad end of the deal with parents "hiding" sicknesses and trying to skirt my illness policy.
