Ohhhhh YUCK!!!!

12 month old DCB brought today. The Mom's BF drops him off and runs out the door. The kid smelled disgusting and I found vomit on him, his clothes reeked of vomit as did his breath. I put him in a high chair and attempted to reach Mom and the BF. No answer from either of them. I texted, no answer. I clean up the boy, change his clothes...he still reeks and starts getting diarrhea.
I call Mom's work...not there. No response ALL DAY to my phone calls or text messages.

I reach Grandma, she picks him up. He has had 5 diarrhea episodes here. She takes him home and now tells me both the Mom and the BF were up sick an vomiting last night, but the boy wasn't.

I am so disgusted,...was that their vomit on him then? Or are they lying? Oh Gag....I can't even fathom them sending him with their vomit on him......YUCK!!

I am sending a letter home, I am not happy. Never did talk to the parents of the kid. I did let Grandma know he had to be out tomorrow. Blecchhhh.

Absolutely. I can understand that it is hard to take care of your kid when you are sick...I understand that you FEEL like sleeping instead of taking care of your kid. I feel the same way. However, that does NOT make it OK for you to bring me a kid that you KNOW is sick and expose me and everyone else here to the illness. I'd say goodbye, too.
