Today has been an AWESOME day with my intense 6mo.
-Played by himself on the floor for extended periods of time without much intervention. As a reward, I stopped by periodically to check in with him. He used his pacifier a lot, which he never used to. But hey, I'll take that! The more he plays with it, the higher the chances he'll be able to find/reinsert it at naps, too.
-Slept like a champ this am, without much of a fuss.
-Drank from a Sippy Cup (Tupperware) with help. He also ate a cracker. He turned 6 months old on Christmas Eve!
-Rolled from front to back and back again. I KNEW he could.
-Never once demanded to be propped up in a sitting position. He played ON THE FLOOR by himself happyfacehappyfacehappyface
I am actually really, really glad I have him tomorrow. Mom works one weekend a month and I do Saturdays. So, they'll only be one "off day" before he comes back, and hopefully, Monday will go smoothly.
Keep sending good thoughts our way. You know that this is one reason I haven't termed...because he has days like this and they give me hope.
