This DCB has moved on to another larger daycare. Closer to home and same facility as his older brother. No hard feelings his mom and I are close friends. But yesterday was his first day at the new facility and she sent me a text saying they have suggested taking him to have his hearing tested or they would send a referral so they could have a speech therapist come to the center and work with him. So I guess it was not just me. He has started saying a few things but you have to know what he's talking about to understand.

I have had children over the years that are late talkers and at 23 months I would not be worried.
I had a dcg that did this, we joked she was speaking Chinese. She would have complete conversations but it was all babble. It lasted about 6 months and she is quite the talker now. Of course she is also in college now. My how the time flies.
