    Oh Easy Friday!

How I love thee, let me count the ways.

1 dcg home with grandma who is a teacher, and will be out all next week with grandma (paid) as well.

1 dcb home with Mom who took an additional day off to spend with him, but dropped off donuts and my check this morning.

1 dcb leaving at 12, Mom just wanted to clear out Christmas decorations and can't drive to their storage unit with dcb and all the Christmas décor in tow.

1 dcb leaving after lunch because Dad is only working a half day today.

1 SA dcb getting picked up at noon for the Christmas Custody Switch.

That leaves me with 4 (+ 1 sa) until lunch time, then 2 BOTH are excellent nappers and will easily zonk out from 1-3 and BOTH are 4pm pick ups.

I hope everyone is having a great day, too!

I have an amazingly easy day. Just 1 SA for the day, plus my own 2! The 3 kids are playing with Christmas toys, and we'll be heading to the movies to see Frozen this afternoon. No diapers or naps! I love it!

Easy Friday here, too. I have 3 dcks 8 months, 11 months, and 14 months (all easy kids). My own 2 are with their grandparents 2 hours away until tonight. My latest pickup was supposed top come today but had something come up and took off work, so I will be done by 4:30!

I had one of the biggest surprises of my dc career last night. I was only suppose to have 1 baby Thursday and Friday. Mom was sick yesterday and kept him home. It's usually the other way around-mom's sick and brings baby so she can rest.

Last night, she called and said she wanted to give me a day off today because hubby has been sick all week. She said it would give us a 3 day weekend to relax together. I thanked her but refused. We went back and forth awhile and she put her foot down and insisted, saying to call it a Christmas gift, and she will be by to pay.

I have liked all of my dcp, even though some have irritated me. This one is amazing. She gave me a turkey for Thanksgiving, a bonus for Christmas, and 3 paid days off this week. They are having some financial difficulties, and I know the bonus was a sacrifice, which makes it even more special to me. We all talk about just wishing we got notes of appreciation-well, her note is making me tear up even a week later. I am very, very lucky.
