    Bloody nose Please help

I have a child that constantly picks his nose and makes it bleed. Mom states all the time that its a medical condition. I have physically seen him pick his nose and cause it to bleed. He does it at least once a week. I do tell him to stop and redirect him to other things, but he still does it. He did it today during nap time. I am unsure on how to handle this. Mom works in the medical field doing claims. She is one of these parents that thinks her child does no wrong. How do i go about this. Please help

If it is a medical problem then she should be able to produce a doctor's note to that effect.

Right. I will ask for one after the beginning of the year.

His nose is dry. Insist that mom bring him a bottle of saline spray and a box of tissues and teach him how to use it. I make my nose-pickers go in the bathroom and wash their hands EVERY SINGLE TIME I catch them doing it, right then and there, no matter what's going on. It really helps break the habit.
