Holiday/Vaca Pay

For those of you closed a portion or all of this week and into next, do you have them pay for next week when they return on Thursday? Have them leave a post dated check?

I had them prepay and told them if they needed to post-date checks that would be fine. I won't deposit the post-dated checks until the due date.

I did't think of it till today and realized I should have had all prepay last Friday. Lesson learned. They will all have to pay me January 2nd. All gave me a weeks tuition as a gift so I won't be in a bind.

Got 2 post-dated checks since I do not re-open till Jan. 2.

I have had 2 out of 6 clients pay for this week. OUCH. So I put together a "winter newsletter" this morning and mailed it out to all the families who conveniently forgot. It should be interesting on Monday to see how many readily pay for this week. (they are contracted to pay for the week if they are here, or not)
